Participants: Five Students from each GTF Scholar university.
This leadership conference [was] a leadership training, education, and development hybrid design (Brungadt, 1996). By focusing not only on specific skill development (training) but adding the two components of academic leadership information (education) and personal reflection (development), this conference [was] a very different experience for participants. Research has shown that participants do not internalize programs, which just focus on leadership training. The hybridization of this conference [ensured] the participants not only remember, but also assimilate and then teach others the content they learn.
